Let me explain first that I made and had terrible acne (mostly on the same) for the last 8 years. I’ve Accutane was my second year for 6 months at school and then again my first year at college for another 3 months. I am struggling since then, and had an alternative to dermatoligist bills and prescriptions for the treatment of acne.

Since I was 11 or 12, I had problems with acne – it started mild, but eventually my skin is oily and full of acne, now 18, I tried ProActive, Clearasil, and now this system AcneFree.

First, I would say to you: Do not waste your time on proactive. Of the three above-mentioned, it was the least effective. ProActive is basically sweetened Clearasil, which is perfect for use on mild acne.

However, for moderate to severe acne, I recommend this product. I use it for just over two weeks and while my face is not totally free of acne (although I suspect it will be shortly), it is much less and my skin was irritated feels softer. Ok, I must warn you that I sound like an infomercial, but I am connected to this product for my acne.

I have tried Proactiv, Murad, another acne kit, I do not think the name, separated in addition to topical (eg, Noxzema, Clearasil, etc.) and none gave me the results of this product provides. I even tried the milder version of the acne-free system and not so good results I had with a severe acne free system. I do not recommend this product for dry or sensitive skin and acne. It is a formula that works very drying on my face very oily.
